Tube Laser Cutting will save time for you, cutting your stainless steel tubes and nickel alloy tubes to size, drilling , slotting or bevelling ends for weld preps.
These operations will be carried out to a high degree of accuracy repeatedly.
Laser cutting, or Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation, is a high energy light beam that concentrates the energy to a pinpoint on the material.
By concentrating the energy it causes rapid localised melting and vaporisation of the material.
As the Laser beam follows the contour of the part required it melts the material as it moves. The molten metal is then blown away by an inert gas, i.e. Nitrogen for Stainless and Nickel Alloy products, creating a precise narrow kerf / line.
The accuracy and tight tolerances this process achieves means that intricate and difficult items can be produced without costly investment into tooling and labour costs.
